Dirk Neefs is a dedicated dentist who has been serving the dental community for over three decades. Born on June 19, 1963, in Antwerp, Belgium, he has consistently worked towards enhancing dental care and oral health. He began his educational journey at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, earning his Bachelor of Dentistry in 1987. Recognizing his interest in surgical dentistry and dental implants, he furthered his studies with a Master's degree in Surgical Dentistry at the Université de Liège in 1996.
Establishing his practice in Antwerp in 1987, Dirk has been committed to providing quality dental care to his patients. He has also sought opportunities to expand his knowledge and skills in implantology. His experiences in Barcelona and Asturias, Spain, from 2002 to 2018, broadened his expertise in dental implants and oral rehabilitation techniques.
In 2019, Dirk Neefs joined B-dent in Antwerp and later collaborated with Vitadent in Kapellen in 2023. Over the years, he has made notable contributions to dentistry, including the development of the Tempocopy protocol and intraoral ice pack, which aim to improve patient comfort during treatments.
Dirk Neefs is a member of various professional organizations, including the Holomedecine Association, ITI (International Team for Implantology), and the Aerospace Medical Association. He has shared his knowledge as a speaker at institutions such as Nice University, DMTD University of Luxemburg, University of San Pablo CEU Valencia, and was also a speaker at TEDx Antwerp in 2018. He is also a Topical Team Moderator for the European Space Agency.
